Two Minute Tuesday
READ TIME: 3 minutes
Happy Tuesday Fam! Anyone else feeling this today?

Have a friend who needs these Two Minute Tuesdays? I challenge you to send THIS link to one person this week so we can keep growing this community! It is always appreciated.
Today’s Two Minute Tuesday is going to break down how we can become more responsible leaders and one of the best ways to do that is by setting an example for how other leaders should move. Remember when you were an older kid and your parents or teachers would remind you to set a good example for the younger kids? Just like how younger kids look up to older kids, your employees look up to you. They want to learn what it takes and what the right and wrong moves are to complete the job the best way possible. Here’s how to become a more responsible leader in 3 critical areas that will pay dividends when leading your teamsTip #1: How to have a responsible attitude Setting a positive tone for the attitude of your team is a simple task that will encourage a safe and effective work environement.Action Step: Be aware of your reaction to frustration and failures that come up. Your team is watching your every move. Be open and honest with them about how you feel and lead with vulnerability.
Tip #2: How to be accountable for your behavior
It is important for leaders to exhibit good team-player skills. Should you find yourself being increasingly negative or difficult, take time out of your day to apologize to your employees and recognize fault in your actions. This acountability will help you gain respect and trust in your organization.
Action Step: Set the example for your team that positive behavior is rewarded, and don’t forget to praise your team when you notice them taking responsibility for their work or for their demeanor. Tip #3: How to take responsibility for your choicesOwning up to your shortcomings in the decision-making process will help you have clarity and understanding of how to do better the next time. Commit to developing a better decsion-making process and following through. Have an outlook of positive change and continuous improvement with the choices you make. Action Item: Reflect on choices that you’ve made up to this point and what you can do to make better choices in the future while being open and honest with your team. What you want is on the other side of your fearIn any job or career, there will be wins and losses. As the manager, your duty is to take responsibility for the failures that may inflict your team. When a win happens for your team, celebrate it together! You’ve worked in conjunction to make that win possible. Celebrate it together!Until next time, Pierre Inspires
