Two Minute Tuesday: How To Impress Your New Boss💥

Happy Tuesday 🎉Hello to all the new faces here on this newsletter! It’s been amazing to watch this thing grow every week. And it’s all because of YOU, so thank you! 🙏👉 If you have a friend who needs these Two Minute Tuesdays, send them THIS link!LIFE UPDATE 🚨This weekend I had the pleasure of running in the annual Corrida Del Mariachi 5k to represent the Loyola and MacNeal Hospital family! Was so great to connect with colleagues, meet new people, and be supported by the local Chicagoland Fire Department! But everybody… It is safe to say that I am officially out of my prime 😅 The next day I was feeling ALL kinds of sore and I simply took it as a message from my body to REST. And to that I listened.

THIS WEEKS TWO MINUTE TUESDAY IS ABOUT STARTING OFF STRONG WITH YOUR NEW BOSS 🤝

Ever been unsure about how to start off a relationship with a new boss? Maybe you don’t know what to say or what they need and you came from an unhealthy work situation and aren’t sure where to start. The last thing you want to do is start off on the wrong foot with a new boss by making assumptions of what you think their expectations are. BE PROACTIVE, ASK CRITICAL QUESTIONS The best thing you can do? Start the relationship off by adding critical question so that it puts them in a position to answer you truthfully and honestly. Here are 4 critical questions to ask when you start a new job✅ How can I add the most value to you and the team?

✅ What is the biggest challenge facing the team to get through the month or next fiscal year?

✅ How can I improve personally and reach the next level of success within this team or organization?

✅ How can I share feedback or give my input on how things are going to contribute to the well-being of the organization? Food For ThoughtWhen you start here, it will certainly impress your new boss and let them know that you are committed to starting your relationship off in the right place. The most important thing in the beginning is building trust so whatever feedback you receive, be sure to FOLLOW THROUGH with what they shared with you. Until next time, continue being World-Class.Pierre Inspires
