Two Minute Tuesdayđ„
Happy Tuesday đBack with another Two-Minute Tuesday! I look forward to these every week and I hope that you do too. One thing that Iâve noticed about doing this blog is that the more of a habit it becomes for me, the more I look forward to it. And thatâs the whole point, right? The more that we consistently do things, the more of a routine and the more of a habit it becomes. And thatâs exactly what we want to do with the GOOD things in our life. We want the good things to become so much of a routine for us that itâs almost foreign for us not to do so. If itâs reading a book, doing your meal prep, or getting your workout in. Whatâs going to create that consistency is MOMENTUM. Just start pushing that bolder and it will get going.MAJOR UPDATE đšIâve been humbled by the number of people asking me to mentor or coach them one on one. Itâs not something Iâve ever thought about doing, but Iâm considering doing a group coaching session within the next few months as a tester trial. The focus of these group sessions will be about growing in your leadership, habits necessary for leadership & life success, and all of the ins and outs of career development. đ If this is something you may be interested in being a part of, reply to this email and I will be sure to reach out when this becomes real! This weeks Two Minute Tuesday is about a people management skill that I wish I knew.
A PEOPLE MANAGEMENT SKILL I WISH I KNEW EARLY IN MY CAREER đ I didnât know how important this was until I began to do this often. The skill of providing feedback to people I worked with and being able to do so regularly. I began to see how much people valued the feedback that I gave them and for me, it was a low-effort action. All that providing feedback required of me was CARING. Itâs so easy to take for granted the high performers on your team. Now I know it may not seem like it, but they need recognition too! When someone is not meeting your expectations itâs important for you to tell them and give them an opportunity to correct that based on your feedback so they can improve. Food For ThoughtIt may be difficult at first, but take the time to start paying more attention to what your employees are doing. Both good and not so great. Take it a step further and be sure to share your feedback with them, I promise, once they see that you care enough to recognize or help them, they will be even more motivated to put in the good work.
P.S.đ If you didnât hear, my book â21 Ways to Effective Leadershipâ is now available for order! I know this book will help many of you on your leadership journey. So many people have taken the opportunity to grab this book and take the step into WORLD-CLASS leadership.Itâs your turn! ORDER HERE
Until next time, continue being World-Class.Pierre Inspires
